Where house meets haze, and lo-fi finds a pulse — Lo-F8 // A Lo-Fi Adjacent Collection is a new kind of downtempo: lush, rhythmic, and deeply reimagined.
Built from alternate versions of AION8 singles released between late 2024 and mid-2025, this 12-track collection smooths sharp edges without losing structure. It’s not quite lo-fi. Not quite ambient. Not just remixes. These are songs reinterpreted for quieter moments — without losing their voice.
🎧 The music
Warm keys. Soft-snap percussion. Downtempo grooves and emotional space.
Tracks like Moving On, Center Stage, and One Rule pull from electronic roots but take on new meaning through this slowed, softened lens. Even the bold We Own the Night and the radiant Oh Sunshine turn inward — introspective, tactile, and close.
All vocals are preserved. Some mixes are entirely rebuilt. But the spirit of each original track remains — just heard from a different room.
🗣️ Artist insight
“This album wasn’t planned — it grew naturally. I kept revisiting my own tracks late at night, slowing them down, rebuilding them. At some point, it stopped being a few remixes and became a language of its own.”
— Alek Irwin (AION8)
